This coming March 15-21, 2009, Sharon Vaswani, Orlan de Guzman, and Sarah Queblatin will be representing Y4U to attend the 5th Regional Assembly of URI in the Region (SEAPAC) in Lanao del Norte, Mindanao. With the theme, Building Regional Teamwork and Strengthening Leadership, this regional event will bring together leaders and youths from Cambodia (Sam An Ros), Malaysia, (Fatima Isahak) Indonesia (Indra Udayana), Australia (Elyse Rider) and the from the Philippines: Cebu (Mary Jane Jaimini Dasi), Metro Manila (Sharon, Orlan, Sarah) for a team building, planning, and resource mobilization program.
Also, as the event coincides with the Lanao Month of Peace, the youth are planning to help conduct a workshop on Moral Imagination, and will be interacting with fellow Muslim youths there.
